Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech, Morocco.
Designed by French artist Jacques Majorelle in the 1920’s. Images by Emma Perry.
I got chills when I discovered these images at The Planthunter.
Why you say? Well for me the most exciting color combination are these two, blue and yellow!
Not just any blue, but this deep shocking cobalt blue….
the same color Frida Kahlo slathered all over her home to keep out evil spirits.
AND of course, yellow, the color of the sun.
“On my bucket list!”
Really beautiful !!! 🙂
It’s a great place to visit and a tranquil contrast to the frenetic pace outside in the streets of Marrakech.
