I’m Carlita and my background, simply, is that I have a passion for paper, design and decor. After years working as a graphic designer in the U.S. and the Caribbean, I’ve finally started to follow my dream creating paper and textile pieces incorporating my ink and/or digital illustrations into the designs.

I started brownwilliam art + design llc in 2011 as a way to showcase things that I make and things that I love. Based in sunny South Florida, inspiration comes easily from the many vibrant cultures present here.

My style is a mix of traditional and modern, from the bright colors and textures of the colonial tropics to white clean Scandinavian design.
